Site Preparation. A thorough assessment of the user site is necessary to accurately determine the readiness and preparation costs. Local site security and support capabilities are assessed.
Data integrity Checks. After gaining a complete understanding of the county’s existing record structure, utilities are run to analyze data record integrity, index-image referential integrity, and check for valid images.
Data Conversion. Valid data and images are converted to the new system format. Timing and accuracy of this step is critical.
Training. Training is critical for adoption and acceptance of the new system. A test system will greatly enhance staff training, data conversion and acceptance testing.
Acceptance Testing. The final step. As the last step, the customer verifies the accuracy of the data conversion and that all aspects of the new system are performing as expected.
